nobody outside of a marginalized group has any right to try and further causes affecting that group

we must look back and learn from proud moments in history such as when women were granted the right to vote solely by all the women in the government at the time, or when the civil rights act was passed entirely by african-americans, or when gay marriage was first legalized in new york solely by new york’s gay lawmakers after years of gay people convincing other gay people that it is okay to be gay

because remember, if you have an issue that can literally only be solved through educating massive amounts of people who would otherwise not be aware of the issue, you have to make sure that when you talk to someone about it, they’re already people who are part of it, because everybody else is an asshole who has no right to be in the discussion at all and will never learn so just ignore them and somehow magically your cause will be furthered anyway
