One of the long-awaited Loomis reprints has made it to Barnes and Noble. I’ve never been a fan of LOOOOOMIS’s anatomic instructional material, but this book on heads and hands is great, with lots of common-sense instruction about how to create variation.

Well, variation in everybody except young women, because all his young women look like the same lady, in different wigs. STILL, great book overall - it has what I imagine is, for many of us, much-needed sections on drawing teenagers, children, and babies. Highly recommended. You can just paste magazine pictures in for the young women section, or something.
